DRESS ME!

got treated to a very nice chinese-restaurant! thanks thanks

stopped by H&M when I was waiting for my friend. saw 2 dresses & thought It'd be fun to try them out while waiting. jeez!! I fell in love..they were both full-length dresses, classical cuts, and so so beautiful!! like, gala-beautiful!
when would I ever wear them?!

but maybe, maybe, I'll get a chance to use them..I'm discussing it right now with somebody, and I'll let you know when it's for sure..exciting!

unfortunately I only found a picture of one of the dresses..it looks quite boring on picture, but in real life it was amazing! later I saw they also had it in creme-beige..can't decide which one is better!

and there was also this red, silk dress..usually I don't wear red but the cut was so beautiful!..as soon as I find it on H&M's website I'll show you that one too!!

i love these kind of dresses, clean cut, with details at the back.
I want Lotten, one of my best friends, who's an awesome artist & designer, to make me a whole new collection of dresses!
I don't know where all of my dresses are, I used to have plenty! especially when i worked at Thea's Vintage shop in London..moved to london with 2 bags, came back with 4..but I guess some of them aren't my style anymore, and some of them I'm actually planning to sell on eBay or etsy one day.

ok, so..do you remember the dress I made that I'm supposed to wear at the wedding...
well, I really like that one, but I'm making a new one aswell that I was supposed to sell in the shop, but I'm falling in love with it...this one is more african-boho-inspired I guess..and the other one is zebra-print..they would both be faboulous with big necklaces, and I just can't choose

which one do you think I should wear at the wedding, which one is more wedding-style? (keep in mind that it's not really a snobbish uptight wedding i'm going to, but a spanish country-side-wedding with laidback people)

alright, i decided not to have any ribbon at all but just a big necklace..

I had 3 options first but when i went looking in my jewelry-box i found more and more, and i have some favourites, but I'm not sure..

I NEED YOUR HELP!!

hey guys!
So I'm almost finished with the dress I'm gonna wear to the wedding I'm going to in Barcelona by the end of this month..atleast this is the evening-dress, I might go for a shorter one for the church..we'll see

anyhow! I need your help!
I'm sewing this long chiffondress with zebraprint. It's quite bohemic and I'm gonna were some wooden jewelry to it..
but i can't decide which ribbon to use for the neck...

• either a black, braided one, which is more classic
• or a wooden-necklace with beads, which i would attach to the dress

or maybe i shouldn't have one at all, but I don't think that's an option..or? maybe with a big woodenbead-necklace...aah, which one?!

This day started with a big portion of no-inspiration-whatsoever but a will to sew anyway!
and so I did!
I found an old shirt in the back of the shop, which I transformed into a skirt and a dress! both for sale now!
I'm pretty happy with the results!

blue dress

here's a dress I re-made a bit. It was a broken skirt I found at my old job in London ( a vintage-shop), it was in the £1-basket!!!
So it's been waiting for me to get back to Sweden and use the sewing-machine. I put a zip in it, and it's usable like a dress! I would wear it to the wedding, if it wasnt a bit too small to look good on me:

it's a beautiful day, I slept way too long as usual (don't know why I always put my alarm on 9.30, when I keep on sleeping until 12'o clock..at leats nowadays I feel a bit sad about it unlike before)..
I'm gonna read my letter-book (more about that later) from Lotten wich arrived in the post today, FINALLY! eat some breakfast (I would like to sit on the balcony but the neighbours are outside, and I'm not so beautiful right now)..
Then wash my hair - it will go afro, and I don't have time to straighten it before I'm heading down town, to look for that beautiful h&m dress from fashion against aids..

3 precious dresses

If we keep on , on the what-to-wear-to-the-wedding-team, I just have to show you some dresses that got stuck in my mind, but that I never got, unfortunately. Funny is that they are all maxi-long dresses and from h&m..

1. This dress is SO wonderful! (I don't know if it's because of the pregnant woman)..I was looking for it everywhere, but never found it. Then, when I was completely broke, it was on H6M's webshop. I never got it.

2. This dress is probably the dress I mourn the most. I had it in my hand, I even tried it on.. And it was only 14 euros on sale!!! The only stupid reason was - I couldn't decide wether to get it in blue or coral-red ( I only had the money to buy one at the moment)..So I left them hanging in the store, and because of some reason that I do not remember, I didn't go back until it was too late..

3. This dress is supposed to be out in the stores right now, I've been looking in our local h&m-store, and on the webshop, but it's nowhere to be find. Let me know if you see it somewhere, I cannot lose yet another beautiful dress!

a spanish, romantic wedding coming up..

It so happens that I am invited to what will be the cutest, most wonderful, beautiful, pretty & romantic wedding I will ever attend. It's on the spanish countryside (outside of Barcelona) in a big white spanish countryhouse, where boyscouts sometimes have camps.

It has a beautiful garden, where we will have the party afterwards, and we will literally dance under the stars, because Laura & Unai (the bride & bridegroom) have asked they're friends (especially the ones who can't attend the wedding) to design & create a star , however they want it to look, the only condition is that it is blue or white. These stars will be hanging from the tree's wich we will be dancing under..

Now, my biggest problem (except finding a cheap air-plane ticket to go to Spain in the end of june - impossible!) is WHAT TO WEAR?!
I don't know anything about spanish rules and what-tp-wear-to-a-wedding. But I do know that this wedding won't be a conservative & traditional wedding and that Laura just wants us to wear what we feel comfortable in.

I'm thinking, not too much glitter and silk for me.
She did say that it's common to wear a short dress for the ceremony in church, and a longer one for the evening, wich is nice, because then I have a reason to get not only 1, but 2 new dresses! Perhaps I will sew something myself..here's some inspiration I found on the net:
