I'm really into this decorating/painting/interior design-thing now..
oh, just realized I got the new ELLE decor today! gonna curl up in the armchair with a big cup of tea & the magazine

on thursday I'm off to my hometown to bring back all of my stuff, it's gonna be alot..for example 2 couches, which I have no idea where I will put...and loads, loads, loads of other stuff..I' so looking forward to sorting out the boxes I've filled since I was 14, I don't remember all the beautiful things I've collected ever since I was young, until I had my very own apartment..and now I do..

I'm happy, just got an answer from my landlord, as I asked him if I could paint the cupboard-doors in my kitchen, and the answer was yes!...if I do it properly and no extreme colors..
weeeell, I'm not really the girl who does things properly, and well..I was kind of thinking about aqua/light urquoise doors..is that too extreme? I don't think so, it will be great!

also, I'm thinking about some new wallpaper for a wall in the kitchen, or maybe the wall behind my bed. and I just LOVE these kind of patterns..this one (on the top of this post) is Ljungbergs, by Sven Markelius, 1952 (I think)....it reminds me so much of my favourite pillow from IKEA, and some of the paintings I've been doing lately (will show you sometime)

does anybody know where I can find something similar, a bit cheaper, or maybe there is even somebody who could make one for me?

been wanting these chairs since the first time i saw them..when i saw them they were 6 euros (for me, with the ikea family card!)..went back to get them, and then the price was 12..yey..not that bad really, but the problem is...for how long will i like them?
i need to get chairs this week, but my mom won't come down with my furniture & things from Linköping until at least 2 weeks..maybe I should wait & see what would fit better..I mean..I actually wanted to have white walls and colorful furniture/things..so maybe I should go for it? isn't it a bit too classic with black chairs?

there are 3 things I've loved since the first time I saw them. They are all from IKEA, and they're not that expensive at all.
Now 2 of my friends have got the same blanket at home, and everytime i go there, it hurts a little bit knowing that the blanket might not be there next time I go to IKEA (and have money at the same time)...

now, when hopefully, I'll get to have my own appartment in the near future, I'd like to decorate it with these things;

apples & wedding-gifts

oh my bloging is so unevenly updated!!
it keeps coming in waves (nothing during daytime, everything during night)
but it's just that the internet isn't very available for me during daytime,
and sometimes I'm just out of inspiration,
but then, nights like these, it just keeps flowing

I hope it's ok...anyway, I don't think I have that many readers, and if you do read my blog frequently, sorry & thankyou for still reading!

I have an idea of what to do tomorrow..
I'll go around some 2handshops looking for nice kitchentowels (or if it's nice weather , I might take the bike to IKEA to get some...well, it's quite "far away"..maybe not)
I already gave Laura & Unai (the spanish bride & groom-to be) a wedding-gift when I visited them in Barcelona in April ( a beautiful blue handmade ceramic-jar from taizé,france)..but, I saw these nice handprinted kitchentowels in a swedish blog, and got inspired. Maybe I'll do something like that, with their names & weddingdate on them...maybe maybe..we'll see what happens tomorrow..

Oh I'm such a nightperson, as usual, I'm up (it's 2.30 and I'm not in bed) late, finding new inspiring blogs & websites..
I've been thinking about weddings alot lately, probably because our crownprincess got married a couple of days ago (which ofcourse has been THE THING in media the last year) and also because I'm going to Barcelona for a friends wedding this coming weekend! I can't wait!! It will be one of the most beautiful weddings ever (i know i keep nagging about it, but it will just be so amazing!!)..when we talked about these people who don't really do anything personal for their weddings, you know, the usual wedding-cake, wedding-dress, dinner etc. etc..she said:

"well, when people celebrate their birthdays, they do different things, som people like to have a big party, some people stay at home, some people go out with friends...so why shouldn't the wedding be the same, do what YOU want to do, this day is all about you and the one you love"

yes yes, very true!
I just found a campaign from IKEA, where they are advertising their products in loads of different styles, it's called "party in cottage & castle", and I just fell in love with the romantic french-style wedding. (they also had a ocmpetition where , if you popped the big question, to the one you love, on facebook, you could win your wedding, with this french romantic style)
this is exactly what inspires me for my wedding...whenever that will be:

this is the perfect furniture - cause it has the perfect color and it's a bit scraped off.
I can only dream that me & Lotten finds something like this for our Community - I know she would love this one too..
aqua is my new favouritecolor..and mint-green..and sometimes apple-green...and black of course, always black..but oh these shades of green..
