DILEMMA!

So, I have a dilemma...
should I paint the white part (in the middle) golden or orange?

I know which one I WANT it to be, but it's not the same as the one i SHOULD paint it in...
help me, please?

This is exactly the kind of art that inspires me, and makes my creativity flow. colours, patterns..and the best thing of all - the wood! I love painting on material which would not be expected to be painted on. Usually I paint on cardboardboxes or anything I can find.
