CIRKUS SALE!

hey guys!
seems like I'm up for a pretty great summer, yep! that's good cause I promised myself that this year would be one of the greatest ones..like..ever!
starting off with going to Bali IMMEDIATELY after school ends (actually before school ends, but whatever)...

then as it seems now, I'll join Monki & Weekday at Cirkus sale, for 2 festivals this summer.
cirkus sale is a kind of sale-tour we do, monki & weekday where we'll be selling left over clothes for about 75-90% of the price in the stores..that's some cheap stuff!
we'll also be having a pimp-your-clothes tent and a chill-out tent with dj's...
I'll be joining for hultsfred/arvikafestivalen and Storsjöyran, up north!
really looking forward do this!

MONKI

I'm so happy to be working at Monki.
I never bought so much clothes as I'm going now, at least not from the same store. today I was wearing shoes, socks, jeans, top, cardigan and another cardigan, from Monki..
The store is getting filled with spring-garments, and honestly, I want to get them all!

here's some of the new stuff that's already in my wardrobe:

90210

my head tells me yesterday was a good night.
staff-party started with christmas-wine & games in the park..we were spinning ALOT and I couldn't walk staright and fell right on a pipe..mmh!
then dinner, free alcohol and really good music (90's) at "P Besök", a reeeeally cozy little bar, quite close to where I live. have to go back there some time!

everybody were soo nice in their beverly hills-outfits, and I can't believe people actually wore those clothes back then..well, there are so many different styles form the 90's..love the grunge..

later some of us went to Debaser (3rd time fo me this week..embarassing), where I spent practically half of all my money I have to live from this month..
then we went to Linus place for some after-party,listening to good music, and I fell asleep on the couch haha...
came back home at 5, and woke up at 16 o' clock today! just had my breakfast..now what?
I want to do something!!

90210 beverly hills

11th of december we'll have a staff-christmas-party with all the monki-shops & weekday..
found out today that the theme of the party is 90's christmas, like 90210 bevery hills!
haha oh my god, i hate to dress-up, but actually this one might be fun aswell..just don't know what to wear! inspiration please?! what did we use to wear for christmas during the 90's? all I can think of is velvet-dresses, which unfortunately seem to be popular again!!! then people will just think I came with my regular dress...and shoes? what to wear!

give me some inspiration please, you guys are too quiet!

took a strut around town, to buy some of those things that are sooo boring to put your money on..like washing-liquid ...is that even a word, or does that come form my taizé-enligsh?
(taizé-english is the kind of english spoken in taizé, the community in france where i worked as a volunteer...there are people form allover the world with various knowledge of english, sooo, the english in taizé gets pretty influenced by different languages, and often comes up with new words...)

anyway, this evening I'm working (Monki), cause we have a v.i.p-night for everyone working at weekday,monki or H&M...meaning 50% off for us!!
the problem is I already did too much shopping lately, and i can't really afford to buy more stuff, but hey..need to get some christmas-gifts anyway..

tomorrow I'm working at the pub (mässingshornet) and it feels like it was ages ago (it was probably 3-4 weeks ago?!)..I don't know if I remember how to do it!!
if you live in Malmö, come in tomorrow after 22.00, we have the afro-jam-band playing and they are super-mega-deliciously-awesome!!!

except from..planning..i also worked today, at Monki, my sweet , dear monki, where time flies away, and it's never boring!!
of course I had to do some shopping (seriously. I think this last week I've gotten 17-19 new clothes!!!!!)

so here's SOME of the things I've gotten from Monki lately.....don't know what happened. but hey, it was on the sale..some of it..

utterly mess

what a completely shitty day! utterly shitty & miserable!

i've been wearing my shows for 14 hours now, imagine that!!
also, was workin in copenhagen from 9-18, doing n.o.t.h.i.n all day, think I've turned every single piece of clothing in that shop. oh, no, only on the second floor, cause that's where i spent my 9 hours of work. alone.
but anyway
the worst thing is, that when i came back to malmö, i was gonna unlock my bike, but the lock was kind of stuck, and my key went all un-straight (what's that word!?)
and then i put it in the lock again to try to unlock it anyway, and then my key broke, and the other part is stuck in the lock...so what do i do now?!
I have no bike, cause it will be stuck and locked to a pole, outside of the trainstation FOREVER!
and maybe i could borrow or get some kind of tool, like a huge scissors, but then everybody would think I'm steeling the bike...HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also, when this week is finished, I've worked 8 days out of 9..

copenhagen tips

sooo
it's been a while..

since last time, I've been drinking beer and wine with friends (yesterday) & working t monki (today).
oh i love monki! especially now that we have the sales going on, everything is so cheap!!
gonna work tomorrow aswell, learn how to open, and do the closing up again...shit, there's so much to learn, and I can't remember everything! but hopefully it'll be alright!

copenhagen is getting closer & closer, and I'm getting more and more scared :) and excited..

does anybody have any advice on nice shops, bars, cafés, restaurants, markets & especially secondhand-shops around copenhagen?!

OH! MY! GOD! got a phonecall from a strange nr this morning.. answered with my sleepyvoice, and got an answer back from (aah i don't remember her name) the boss from weekday, copenhagen! she's in big need of workers next week, ALL of next week, monday - friday and got my nr from my monki-boss (monki, H&M & weekday are all part of the same company so we work quite much together and have the same system of cash-machines etc.)...

sooooo, basically I'm gonna live in copenhagen next week, working at weekday! in denmark!! I really don't understand danish as much as I wish..I absolutely don't understand the way they count, and I will look like a complete idiot, cause I won't even be able to speak with my co-workers, but that's alright!! it'll be fun!!

A MESS

back home fom the kick-off, which was great!
started out in one of the shops, with looking at the new collections, learning a bit and blah blah blah...the best part was the beer afterwards! and the fooood...well I couldnt eat anything cause I was really full (from what?! I haven't eaten anything today!!)

anyway, the crew is great, all the monki-people are quite laid-back and nice, so i hope we'll have more of these things...

i could write loads, but it's getting late, and maybe for once I should go to sleep earlier than 2.30..also I'm just really paranoid not knowing who is reading this blog!!

but I'm confused! and happy! and sad!

Beautiful Elsa Billgren, is looking for an intern.
She's doing press & PR for Beyond Retro, the very best secondhand/vintage-shop in Stockholm!
This intern would get a foot into the buisness by helping her organizing parties, doing press-releases, facebook-events, and just meet and hang around with cool people!
wouldn't that be the best thing ever?! yes, that's why I though...until I realized I live in Malmö..which isn't too bad either.

I'm hoping there will be other chances, and maybe I could do something like this for my internship through my studies in a year or two..yes yes! hoping!

what a great day!
The sun is shining (i could go outisde without a jacket!..haven't been able to do that in a looong time)...and..
I GOT A NEW JOB! from now on I'm officially working at Monki! (yes, maybe cause I'm wearing my lucky-underwear)
It was really fun & we had things to do all the time, so the hours passed by quickly!

but Oh Sweet Jesus, I saw soo many things I haven't seen before, eventhough I've been at Monki several times the last couple of weeks..I want to buy loads & loads, and as I will be getting som discount, I guess I will buy everything aswell..not good!

today I got this scarf, also in black, and red..thinking about getting the red one too! haha

what do you think?
(I definately think that I should get a new camera, that's for sure!)

Welcome to DocLounge

Just came back home from DocLounge, where I've been helping out as a volunteer..
it's just a fantastic thing , we've got:
pillows, couches, total coziness, bar, dj's, bands and most of all GREAT DOCUMENTARIES! local, national & international ones..always premiere-shows..

so if you live in or around malmö, get to Babel every monday-evening after 19.00 for a really nice evening, with nice people and good music & film...

tonight we watched an awesome film about Roman Polanski and his chaotic life..next week there are going to be several shortfilm, and the week after that, the movie about white stripes - all in black/white/red!

busy autumn

sorry for not posting too much today..
it's just been one of those busy days, head is spinning around..

came back from school, got a phonecall, and guess who it was?!
do you remember me getting that interview at a quite big & famous (and nice!) clothing-store in july? well, i didnt get the post right then, but she said she thought i seemed cool and that she would call next time they needed someone..well she actually did! today!
so, i think they're looking for a part-time worker...my oh my how much do i want it! but I'm studying full-time, already extraworking at the bluesbar some nights a week, and im gonna start working as a volunteer at a project called DocLounge (dj, bands, mingle, bar and documenatry-movies)...
but. i want it. i can make it? i just need to sacrifice alot of free-time, and some of my studying-time...but i can do it..busy woman!?

we'll see, going there wednesday to talk about it anyway!

I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
for 2 whole days! i can't believe it!
i'm soooooooo tired after this week, 6 days of work...i mean, i usually dont work AT ALL!
i'm gonna sleep for so long tomorrow (actually with my job being at night, i can sleep long every morning), then do my laundry, and watch a movie with a...friend..and THEN, i can sleep long AGAIN cause i'm free tuesday too!

Lisboa

sometimes, yes, most of the times, I just feel like getting serious. either start my studies this autumn, or, find a great job and save money so that i f-i-n-a-l-l-y could go to latinamerica, wich has been my dream the last 2 years..
But, then, the other times I just feel like going on the way I've been doing since I finished highschool 2 years ago, travelling, working .. where I want to go the most right now (and since quite a time) is Lisbon, or Portugal in general, but Lisbon seems like a wonderful, warm city. I lov eportuguese people and the language!!
The company I worked with in Barcelona (telemarketing, euh!) just opened an office in Lisbon, I'm pretty sure I could get work there i I applied...and there are quite many cool hostels where I could apply for work, and maybe even stay at for free, I know alot of hostels do that.
But then, I would probably have to give up the dream about latinamerica (I mean I could probably go later on in life, but I want to do it this winte because of different reasons)
I don't think I would be able to save so much money in Lisbon...

the sun is back, finally! the apple(is it apple? i never saw any fruit on it) - tee in the backyard is starting to bloom . everything is so late here this year. When I left Taize 2 weeks ago, the blossoms of the trees had already flown away..

Today I'm taking care of the shop, so you better come down and buy something! or atleast visit me, drink tea & eat cookies with me..

I've done some paintings, skirts & dresses that I will put out for sale today.
Will try to post some pictures later on
