I'm trying to do a thousand things at a time - like usually.
And I think I'm doing pretty well
cleaning, packing & looking after the blueberry-pie in the oven.
Gonna bring it to Anna in an hour for her birthday-thingy, with blankets on the floor and nice eatable stuff that people will bring...
early tomorrow morning I'm off to Gothenburg, so this is probably the lats post for a while, I'm back on friday afternoon, in time for the premiere of the beergarden at Debaser!

so; i just booked the tickets for my mini-vacation next week.
first I wanted to go to Paris, Barcelona, or even New York..but for 3 days, Gothenburgh will be perfect aswell! meeting some old friends I haven't seen in a very long time, drinking beer, going through the old parts of Gothenburg and check their secondhand/vintage-stores...and what else?
eat my favourite chocolate-cake at my favourite french café..

DESTINATION UNKNOWN

wow, am I good at spending money on food or what?
came back from the supermarket with 2 bags, and 36 euros less..I am ONE person in this household, still I eat for 2!
anyway, my kitchen is stuffed with all kinds of delicious stuff, cause of course they had extra-cheap prices on all that, and of course, I had to buy it.

It's gonna be a quiet Friday for me, but I'm enjoying it. some good food, good tv, and later on maybe painting a bit..working tomorrow, and after that seeing Dominique for some coffee (and waffles I hope, since it's the waffle-day today! LOVE waffles!)
will also try to get to the place where my bicycle has been sent by my friend back in Linköping..it's just that it's reeeally far away from where I live, and oh man...I do need some excercise..

oh also, I kind of already finished my home-exam...it's not supposed to be sent in, until 5th of april so I'm kind of having a frickin' vacation now! was thinking about travelling somewhere next week..london, paris, barcelona..but no, if I'll go somewhere it'll be gothernburg, I have some friends there which I havent seen for long. Also, it's better if I save the money until Bali, and for the summer..cause it's gonna be awesome!

I'M LEAVING ON A TRAIN

wow, my apartment is so clean...that's a new experience, and I like it!
I've been cleaning for about 3 hours now, with Anja Schneider on high volume..
Had to make room for the new furniture and stuff that I'm bringing back from Linköping this weekend.

I'm actually looking forward to this weekend, there will be alot of sorting out up there, but what I'm looking forward to the most is, staying with my oldest friend (since we were 8) in her new apartment, then coming back with Emil,another friend who will help me drive the car down here and carry all the boxes and couches. some other friends are coming over to help aswell, and in the evening I'm gonna cook a dinner for them, and drink some wine, and just have a great night!

so maybe I won't be updating this blog for a few days, but hang in there..

Istanbul

today is the second time i really feel like going to Istanbul. Random.
One of my readers once told me that Istanbul is my kind of city, and that I should go there. (btw Kajsa, when was it that you're coming to Malmö?)

and now I read a post from garance (who also took the picture), and it seems fantastic..
I can imagine it's a great mix of the orient & europe, fantastic food, a lot of small cafés with water-pipes (whats the english word for that, I forgot it..)

the sad thing is I now I won't go there whenever I have money & plans for travelling. there are always places that are so much more "important", and places I've been longing to go to forever.
So if anybody, anytime, completely randomly, would like to treat me on a trip..please choose one of those places I wouldn't go to myself, right now..like Istanbul, or Greece (maybe I'll have to when my mom moves there), or Moscow, Iceland...actually..almost anywhere except Argentina, Brazil and U.S..

back home from rotterdam

im back from rotterdam
it was great & wonderful to see some of my best friends again..
Im just so tired now, 16 hours of bus to come back..

and nowadays i live all alone in a 4room appartment of 94 sq. meters...ECHO!!!

but im looking for my own little place now, and i hope ill find something soon!!

probably wont be able to show you pics form rotterdam in a while, cause mathilda, who had the card-reader moved out

ok, it's really not a surprise anymore...I'm going to Rotterdam tomorrow..
it will be great to see 2 of my best friends, and a whole lot of other friends too!! last time I saw them was april, when I left France..They're all part of the taizé-team preparing for the big youth-meeting in rotterdam by the end of this year. but I wont be able to go then, so Im going now to help out a little bit..

damn it, I really spent alot of money to surprise them!

copenhagen tips

it's been a while..

since last time, I've been drinking beer and wine with friends (yesterday) & working t monki (today).
oh i love monki! especially now that we have the sales going on, everything is so cheap!!
gonna work tomorrow aswell, learn how to open, and do the closing up again...shit, there's so much to learn, and I can't remember everything! but hopefully it'll be alright!

copenhagen is getting closer & closer, and I'm getting more and more scared :) and excited..

does anybody have any advice on nice shops, bars, cafés, restaurants, markets & especially secondhand-shops around copenhagen?!

NEW YORK!

wow, just had a revelation!
was looking at my university's website, for some inspiration for next years courses..
next autumn I have the opportunity to choose from different courses, and the 2 courses I want to take distance-courses! they will let me live wherever, and just study with books & lectures given on the internet! how good isn't that for a travel-freak like me!!

Recently (or just all of my life) I've been wanting to go to New York real bad! so maybe thats an option? but I will only have half of my students loan if i take those courses, and being a student is expensive..even more expensive in new york!

where else could I go? maybe i should finally live my dream in southamerica..argentina? brazil?

or on the other side of the world, bali? surfing during the morning, studying in the afternoon, and drinking cocktails on the beach during the evening?

or maybe I should go to Lithuania once more, because it's just so cultural and beautiful & amazing!!

what do you think? do you have any advice on where I should go?

tonight I'm really missing London.
the smell, the sound, the view, the people, the streets..
but mostly the feeling I had, or atleast the feeling I have when I think about it..

the feeling of walking around SoHo,
of lying in SoHo-square with picnic from Tesco around the corner,
the cheap £1-pasta's and and sushi from Tesco

the feeling of getting dressed with high heels and lipstick, before going out at night.

the coziness of sitting in a brwon leather-sofa at Royal George and watch long haired, bearded men..

the feeling of a cold, big pint of beer..

and everything else..

I might have to move back there sometime

it's raining in Oslo & I'm writing a reportage about the drugs in this city.
Gonna go out with my analogue camera, get some black/white film and take some photos, in the rain.

there's just something about big cities..

so, waking up, in a beautiful home in Oslo..
Don't know if I ever told you, but I love coming home to people, see how they live, what kind of things they decorated with, souvernirs form their trips..and mostly, I love to imagine how I would have decorated..
This appartment has alot of potenciality..high ceiling, big windows..

so I'm sitting here with a big cup of Tea, Amanda & Emelie are working, Penne is sleeping...me, I'm gonna try to write something for my school-report, and then I'm heading out to the city centre, to do some shopping..well maybe not, cause oslo is disgustingly expensive, but hey, I'm on vacation!

as my camera doesnt work properly I can't show you my photos of the appartment yet, but I found some old ones, from Amandas blog, from just when they mopved in here...the photos are reversed though, but you can still see how nice it is..

hey guys! I'm in our dear neighbour-country, Norway!
visiting my dear Amanda that i lived together with in barcelona & london...it's so nice to see her again, and her friends are awesome too, we're gonna have a grrreat weekend!
already visited her job, had some delicious bruschettas, and did a little shopping..
walked past BLÅ (pictures) and watched some crazy-ass art! probably we're gonna go there sunday evening for some beer and jazz-music..
this weekend is gonna be so great!
just need to write that report for school too..hmm

Oslo

hey guys, I've been busy all day, school, work, and now finally - packing. I'm heading off for Oslo tomorrow, gonna visit some friends, and just enjoy free-time ( although i will have to study, write a reportage, while I'm gone)..eat Amandas wonderful food, go to flea-markets, have coffee and cupcakes at Amandas job..life's gonna be great!

moreover, my beauiful mom sent me a huge carton filled with some clothes & stuff I missed. mostly winter-clothes, which I really need, as it's getting freezing over here! I was also reunited with my dear Doc Martens, thats true love!

I'll bring my computer to Oslo so hopefully I'll be able to update you while I'm there..If any of you have any advice on what to do or where to go in Oslo, let me know!

Oslo baby!

so this one is for you amanda:

I'm planning to go to Oslo, maybe I already told you..probably it will be the weekend around 24th of october..I'll be free from school 5 days, so probably I'm gonna spend 2 days in Gothenburg and 3 in Oslo...visiting some old dear friends...I just hope we won't have too much in school around that time, so I'll spend the weekend studying...

I'm looing forward to seeing Oslo, last time I was there I was 9, and I don't really remember it..also, cause I've been planning to move there several times, but never felt like it in the end.. I'm sure I will like the city though, but it's damn expensive...looking forward seeing Amandas café, eating some delicious food she prepares for me, drinking some norwegian beer, and whetever else we will do ..

yann tiersen live

alright, going to the library seems to be a tradition these days, my internet still doens't work and I'm getting pretty, fucking irritated..

other things happening in my life:

• yesterday, when I finished work, I got a 30 euro-tip from a drunk guy to whom i didn't say a word all evening, he gave it to me because I "had been so nice this evening"..he atcually gave me more than I had earned that evening haha..

• I just bought a ticket to see Yann Tiersen live in Norwich, England, in November. with My lithuanian friends Virginija & Paulina! awesome! I've been wanting to see him for ages. after this, I've seen all of my top 5 favourite musicians!

wow, just 2 posts under, i wrote that i have to see yann tiersen live, sometime in my life..hopefully soon
well guess what! checked his tour-dates todya and the 6th of november he'll play in norwich , england, where I just happen to have a very good friend who I've been wanting to visit for some time..and we have 2 other friends in common who also wants to see yann! soooooo I'm really hoping we'll make something out of this! (and i'm hoping i wont have an exam in school that day, or that i'm on my way to latinamerica....well...that wouldnt be too bad maybe)...

AND, my friend, Maria from russia is coming to Malmö in just 2 weeks!!! :)
