palea converse
hello my dear beautiful wonderful little readers..how are you today? did you get enough sun? chocolate? love?
I'm in the shop as usual, finishing another long dress, maybe i will wear that one to the wedding instead, aah, can't choose! I'll show you guys later, and you'll have to tell me which one is better..
for now, here's a pair of converse I modified a bit, i cut them a bit, to make them low, and also painted some typical palea-leaves..what do you think?

got up early today to send a package to the girls in Taizé..
then got back to bed, started thinking about taizé, how cozy those rainy days are (well, everyday is cozy over there)..and you wear thos big knitted cardigans, and indian trousers that looks like your pyjamas, and in the winter-time, or any time really, you wear the socks your grandmother knitted for you, and matching gloves, and a really big scarf around your neck...
and after work you go inside for a hot bowl of tea (yeah they use bowls)..and then comes that famous rainbow, sometimes it's even double..and then the evening-prayer is so cozy, when the rain hits the windows, and the people are singing songs, lighting candles, sitting all over the floor...yeah it's a special place. ooh! My Rosa just called,
my dear, beautiful, wonderful, loving & beloved Rosa!
it's crazy how some people you meet just instantly becomes your best friend..
I have 4 (or maybe 5 or 6) best friends, and all of them was just ..instant bonding!!..well..almost..
and I haven't even known Rosa for 7 months yet..
I'm hoping she does what her heart says (but I really hope her heart says to come visit me or travel with me for a while)
and Lotten is coming soon too, another best friend...I'm really lucky to have these true, honest, wonderful persons around me!! I don't need any other friends than real friends!

i've been around town a bit,, it's my mom's b-day tomorrow, so i got some things for her (why is it so hard to buy good gifts these days? it was so much esier when I was 8, and everything was "cute")...
I got some money yesterday, but I have to keep them for barcelona, which is hard, since I saw a nailpolish in the exact color I've wanted for long (vintage mint) & a beautiful dress from Indiska...oh well! I guess I have a b-day too.............the last day of november..

tunisian tunic
just a quick post, to show you a new tunic I made..well, i re-made it. I sewed some lace onto it, and it's really pretty don't you think?

sitting down in the shop, waiting for Johanna who's back in town for the w-end. haven't seen her for 7 months!! crazy! so we're gonna have a chit chat, maybe some tea and cookies..before I'm off to working at a private party this evening..
got a package from Javier today, he's still in taizé and I left him some things that I couldnt bring back home, since they send packages for free from there. so he sent me my leopardprint rainboots (grrr!) and when i opened the package I said "oh..not even a cookie (taizé is full of cookies, and we ate them all the time)...and then I lifted the boots and the cookies just poured out of the boots!! happiness!

my feet ache a bit.
I've been working! yey!
i was waitressing in a greek restaurant, cause they were really busy today as it's graduation-time here right now. so i was waitressing about 100 drunk 18yearold kids..
gonna work tomorrow to but at a private dinnerparty something-something..
it's nice with some extra cash, im gonna need it when i move down to Malmö.
the rain is pouring down, I feel like having a cup of tea, and something sweet, a good movie, and someone sweet :)

had a nice chill out day with Sarah, who's in town for the w-end. She lives in Malmö so soon I will be able to hang out with her whenever I want to!!
we cooked a delicious meal, and just lay dead infront of the TV,
now i'm down in the shop and I just finished some things.. here's a blouse my mom's friend gave me to re-do a bit, since she shrunk it in the washing-machine..i put on a nice lace on the bottom:

etsy
Oh I love etsy so much!
they just have everything you can imagine, and everything you want!!
there are so many nice fabrics and supplies that i could use to make new clothes and jewelry,
and i even thought about starting an etsy-shop myself, but it seem a bit complicated, or is it not?
i dont know how it wors with the payment, and shipping to other ocuntries and...maybe i'm just too lazy to learn..

last night, I was halfasleep with the computer in my knee, and CSI on the television.
Then the phone calls, and as usual, I get all nervous and wondering who's calling ( i have telephobia)..it was Emil, and I was quite surprised as..well..we don't meet up very often, unfortunately.
we went out to have, what I thought was 1 beer (is it ever only 1 beer? i don't think so.)..
in the end, when the bar had closed, we went to the only place in our city which is open until 3 o'clock on a tuesday night - Plaza. Oh how I've feared Plaza, It's the tackiest place ever, and I always promised myself not to go there, so yesterday was the first time. But hey, what a pleasant surprise, me and Lizette, another girl we hang with, met a dude on the dance-floor, 40-ish-yearold Jalal from Palestine..HE WAS THE KING OF DANCING!
what dance-moves, oh my, He OWNED us with dance-moves I'd like to call "the gun", "the techno-beat", "the knee-crossing", "the floor-bender"..yeah the list goes on..we spent the whole night copying his dance-moves, doing exactly how he did. and when he went to get a drink we just lost all our inspiration and didnt know how to dance anymore..

I just cooked a delicious meal (home-made lentil-burgers with mashed potatoes, green peas, gherkins and lingonberry-sauce) MMM!
I guess I actually do like to cook. I just never cook for others, as I'm scared they won't like it or something..but I should start cooking more for others, cause it's always nicer to eat with somebody else!
Today I went around town for a bit, met up with Matilda, bought a new fabric, which will look great as a long-dress:

fagiolini
yet another sunny day, which i haven't enjoyed to it's maximum, i don't really know what to do.
I should just go read my fat book (shantaram) in the park..
But I've been around town getting some necesseries...
now i'm gonna make some food, fagiolini beans, with tuna, tomatoes and lemon..yum!
later on, maybe a beer or two with friends..
