just gonna write something quickly, cause i won't have alot of time today
directly after school I'm heading towards Babel, and DocLounge for yet another evening of volunteering, drinking beer and watching good documentaries....this evening we will show several short-movies. it's gonna be awesome, attend!

thoughts

earlier today it was like someone had put a coloured lens on the world. i looked out the window and it was all pink...

I always get so happy when that happens, I remember the first time I saw it, I was in my dad's house in England, and the world outside was orange...

anyway, just had sarah over for dinner and cake, yum!

I'm satisified with having started writing my essay..

just thinking about media right now, facebook and all these things (yeah we pretty much discuss this every lesson, but anyway)...it's crazy how much info you can get about a person you don't even know..so easy...think about it! isn't there several things you know about people who have no idea that you know that..or maybe they don't even have no idea about who you are?! just think about all the famous people..but then the other ones, us, "normal" people..I have no idea who could be reading this blog, or who could have photos of me or my friends in their computers...you know what I mean? it's kind of scary..but cool..

yeah I'm sooo deep! don't wanna be giving you headaches, so that's all for now..

my eyes are hurting

and my throat too

i think i have the answers to why,

the eyes- cause I've been sitting here too long (I actually started writing my examination!!!...but then i got distracted, looking at photos)

the throat - cause everytime i stop smoking for a couple of months, and then start again, I get a cold (?????)

or, it's because I have a tiny hangover! maybe!

yes, yesterday evening didn't end like i thought it would.

i was watching ps. I love you (yes i even had the time to cry a little bit) with a bag of chips, and a freshly baked chocolatecake...and then Tarmo messaged me, and forced me to come out and have a beer with him and his friends (okey, i write force, like it's something bad. but honestly I'm so easy to persuade)..

the night ended up in a really strange bar that looked like a ravedisco, and the people were just....woah..so boring! me and Tarmo felt a little bit better than everyone else, and then & there decided that we'll go to New York next autumn to shoot a movie!!

now: eating corn on the cob, and cake with Sarah who I haven't met in ages! and I don't have a birthday-gift for her yet!! aah..

monki-style

okey...this saturday is sad..
i don't mean that having a white weekend is bad, or stupid..
just boring, cause I really want to celebrate, but whatever. enough nagging..
I've made a chocolate-cake, and i have a bag of chips waiting for me, so together with a good movie (shutter island? inception?) this evening is gonna be awesome!! (I'm gonna feel so sick after eating all of that)

oh, also, checked out the new stuff on Monki's website..you know I mostly dress in black..I'm so Goth..nah.. I just think it fits to everything, and it's classic...

I've got 99 problems, but a job ain't one

Oh it's so sunny outside, and it's saturday, and I just want to get drunk and celebrate my new job!
but almost everyone is busy, gone or working...maybe it's the best thing for me anyway..I have to wake up "early" for a meeting tomorrow, and I still haven't started my examination yet..
so maybe that's what I'll do, and then bake a chocolate-cake and watch a movie, all by myself...
is this going to be a white weeend? how boring!

hello people!
what a great day!
The sun is shining (i could go outisde without a jacket!..haven't been able to do that in a looong time)...and..
I GOT A NEW JOB! from now on I'm officially working at Monki! (yes, maybe cause I'm wearing my lucky-underwear)
It was really fun & we had things to do all the time, so the hours passed by quickly!

but Oh Sweet Jesus, I saw soo many things I haven't seen before, eventhough I've been at Monki several times the last couple of weeks..I want to buy loads & loads, and as I will be getting som discount, I guess I will buy everything aswell..not good!

today I got this scarf, also in black, and red..thinking about getting the red one too! haha

what do you think?
(I definately think that I should get a new camera, that's for sure!)

my head is aching, and I'm full of have-to-do's..
actually there's only one thing i really have to do:
my examination.

and I just got my first bill from 3, the company where i get my internet from. apparantly the guy in the store signed me up for a deal where I'm supposed to pay 25 euros a month, eventhough i strictly asked him to sign meup for the 20 euro-deal..whats up with that?
luckily they had a nice girl in customer-service who re-signed my deal, but that guy will have to explain this to me, first thing tomorrow!!

now: cook some mushroom-soup, then off to the bar for work, it's gonna be a long evening.
tomorrow: talk with the bad guy, then work at Monki!! gonna be awesome!! wish me good luck!

ok, so i decided to run down the street to get some soda and chips, to reward myself...the plan was to start writing my examination on social movements...well, I didn't start writing it yet, but I've been reading and trying to understand difficult words (as all of the litterature is in academic english)...I think I did well..the problem is just that I have no idea when I'll be able to write on the examination as I'm working all weekend...but I have until next weekend anyway so..



I forgot to tell you about the amazing concert yesterday, didn't I?!
It was truly the best concert this year, like always when you see wildbirds & peacedrums live..it's magical, and beautiful x 1000!! and this time they had a choir from iceland with them, and the sound of her voice, and their voices, and his drums....amazing!!


i'm free tomorrow (except working at the bar in the evening), and Mathilda ( my flatmate) is off to Linköping. I'm all alone this weekend!! nice...well, i won't be home alot anyway, but still!!

woke up way too early this morning (went to bed at 2 last night), had to go to school for a 30 min session, wich was shortened down to 20 min, because basically everyone was late..
but i shouldnt complain, I live like 15 min from the school. Olle had to take the train for 50 min to get there, and 50 min to go back home..yikes!

also, I've started a little project of mine...
one of my favourite-things in the whole wide world, is autumn leaves...red, orange, yellow, brown, green....all of them!! so what I'm thinking is, I would like to have some from allover the world...
My stay in Taizé for 8 months gave me quite many contacts spread allover our planet, but maybe there is somebody reading this who's not from sweden , and would like to help me?

other than that, I've just been strolling all over the city centre today..finished school really early, so as usual, i took the road via centre, and bought things I actually needed...

zara's got loads of nice clothes right now. i've been looking at this one for a while and today they had only one left..did i buy it? no...

it's so nice, but it could also end up being one of those cardigans that i loved at firts sight, but then it just ends up staying in the wardrobe because it's just too..knitted..??
what do you think?

it's actually mostly the elbow patches i love (no the rets is really beautiful too, but I just got a thing for patches)..maybe i should just re-decorate some of my old cardigans with some patches..

the city & the candy

just had to run down the street and get something sweet
the result whas - 2 bags of candy...
one with normal candy, and one with what they call nature's candy (do they really think I think it's healthier just because there are nuts inside the chocolate?....well I do)

so, a big cuppa' tea is waiting for me, and so is some episode of The City...downloaded some now that the last True Blood-season is finished..
what should I watch now, do you have any advice?

maybe i should start watching Gossip girl again. i thin quite alot happened since I saw it last time over a year ago!

yet another day of bad blogging, but today I've been busy actually STUDYING!
yes, after school I went to sit at the library for a couple of hours, to get some rest & concentration and read through miles of papers..
we're doing an examination soon, it's an essay to write at home, and group-wor and case-studies before that..so loads to do now..

afterwards, i had the best meal in a very long time..as i started eating fish again i bought some nice Cod at the supermarket...together with sweet chili, soy sauce & ginger..delicious!!

right now, just getting stuck infront of pictures of tattoos & robert pattinson kissing kristen stewart...basically


oh tomorrow's wildbirds & peacedrums - gig at Babel, and right now I have nobody who can go with me, this sucks, because they are soooooooo fuckin' awesome live, you can't even believe it. and I don't really feel like going alone..bu hu hu...please come with me?

Welcome to DocLounge

Just came back home from DocLounge, where I've been helping out as a volunteer..
it's just a fantastic thing , we've got:
pillows, couches, total coziness, bar, dj's, bands and most of all GREAT DOCUMENTARIES! local, national & international ones..always premiere-shows..

so if you live in or around malmö, get to Babel every monday-evening after 19.00 for a really nice evening, with nice people and good music & film...

tonight we watched an awesome film about Roman Polanski and his chaotic life..next week there are going to be several shortfilm, and the week after that, the movie about white stripes - all in black/white/red!

london calling

tonight I'm really missing London.
the smell, the sound, the view, the people, the streets..
but mostly the feeling I had, or atleast the feeling I have when I think about it..

the feeling of walking around SoHo,
of lying in SoHo-square with picnic from Tesco around the corner,
the cheap £1-pasta's and and sushi from Tesco

the feeling of getting dressed with high heels and lipstick, before going out at night.

the coziness of sitting in a brwon leather-sofa at Royal George and watch long haired, bearded men..

the feeling of a cold, big pint of beer..

and everything else..

I might have to move back there sometime

I'm just soo tired today,
yesterday at eight o'clock in the evening I just jumped on the train back to Malmö, and said goodbye to Linköping after just 24 hours..
went directly to my classmate anna's place for some party and later on clubbing with the class..we were dancing like crazy to Dubstep at INKONST!

so basically today, I've been doing nothing at all except from sitting at a really cozy café (simpan), wich will be my new place to hang out at..studied a bit for the coming week, and tried not to think about the big examinating essay that's coming..

busy week coming up,
monday : volunteering at DocLounge - dj, band, beer & documentary-movies at Babel..come!
wednesday : wildbirds & peacedrums playing at babel. do not miss!! they're crazy good!!
thursday : not sure, but might be going to a vernissage
friday: working at the bar

I'm just eating green ice-cream for breakfast (mint & figs), and having a minor panicattack,
apparantly there is no longer any DJ for tonights afterparty (after my mom's shop's fashionshow at the culturefestival) so now she just asked me to put some good music onto her iphone...hmmmmmmmmmmm?!?!?!?!?! me? DJ?

no seriously, do you have any good music, such as some kid of electro, dubstep or whatever you can dance to?
