I alwas thought I hated her music, but I think I just never gave it a chance.

MONKI MAKES ME CRAZY

hey guys...
bad, bad blogging lately,
just haven't had time at all
right now there's alot going on in my mind;
work x2, school, love, Walpurgis, Bali, friends and "unfortunately" most of all : shopping

I say unfortunately because it's unfortunate for my economy, though my warderobe is happy (though space-öess)...I don't know what happened, but the last couple of days I've been spending way too much money on stuff & mostly clothes..
though on tuesday I will get 50% back, as we have a staff-shopping-day at work, and most things I bought are from our shop...there are so many nice things instore right now, here are SOME that I got from work, Monki!

DAYS LIKE THESE

wow, what a weekend, what a day, what an easter.
the weather has been crazy! it's really been summer-warm during the days.


Yesterday after work, me & mum went to Folkets park with 2 bottles of wine, 2 bags of chips & 2 big plates of falafel with fries and veg. we kind of didn't know how drunk we were until we stood up to leave..Dominique joined us at the end. then mom left and me and dominique sat outside at debaser with some of the staff, until after closing-time..
nice!


today Rosa left, and after that I met up with Anna by the water. sunbathed for a couple of hours, got sweaty & tanned, and then we went buying some pic-nic & joined her some of her friends & their friends in another park...we even had Corona with lime...life's good, days like these..

KITCHEN

my apartment is taking form, little by little.
it's soon gonna be 6 months since I moved to this apartment, my first own one...6 months
that means it's also 6 months since...yeah..
that's quite a long time...

today we put up a new shelf in the window, a shelf for my herbs & plants which are already growing fast! I also put up 2 shelves by the table, for random stuff like tea-tins (didn't know I had that many!!)...

also, I really love this poster by Johan Thurfjell,
I'm gonna by it at the modern museeum, and put it up somewhere, perhaps in the kitchen.

WATER FOR ELEPHANTS

yesterday I finally saw one of Rob Pattinsons new movies, water for elephants.

Don't know how many of you have read this blog for so long, that you'd know my crazy obsession with Rob. Yes, like a 14year old girl, I'm dreaming about him to be the father of my babies, the groom at my wedding, the man of my life...you get the point...
actually..it was more before than now..up until this movie (and since the last twilight-movie) I had just accepted that he's pretty much the hottest guy on earth, and...that's nice..

but man, you have to see this movie. it's beautiful, sexy, horrible, sad & just...great!!

it's times like these, that I'm doubting my choice of studying photography next year, and not film..well film was my second choice, so I'll just let fate have it's way...

THE BRUNCH

Yesterday me & 6 friends went out for brunch at a café in town. That's one of the best things with almö, almost every restaurant & café have brunch during the week-ends. The one we went to was great, they had sooo many delicious things, and we stayed for hours, finally rolling back home with our bellies full of nutella, pancakes, croissants, tortellinis, salmon and what not.

FRIENDS

Amanda left today, but before she left, we enjoyed a supernice brunch at Johannas place. She had made blueberry pancakes for us, with strawberries..pictures coming up!

Tomorrow Rosa's arriving, my best friend from Germany, and I can't believe she's finally coming to Sweden...we've been planning this for a year now, and she's already talking a bit swedish!
so if there won't be alot of updating here, you'll know why..I'll be busy showing her around Malmö!

AMANDA'S VISITING

sorry, haven't been posting in a while, since I've got a friend in town. Amanda, whom I first met when me & Johanna moved into the same apartment as her in Barcelona. Later on me & Amanda moved to London, and the lats year she's been living in Oslo, so we haven't met alot. Now she's here in Malmö, visiting me & Johanna, and it's been great!

This is exactly the kind of art that inspires me, and makes my creativity flow. colours, patterns..and the best thing of all - the wood! I love painting on material which would not be expected to be painted on. Usually I paint on cardboardboxes or anything I can find.
