cows
this blog is getting totally boring but whatever,
what a day , what a day!
first took the car with sanne & her boyfriend Robin..
we drove around for what felt like hours, trying to find a good restaurant ,
ended up with a catastrophy haha, why does that always happen, when you're reeeeeeeeeally hungry, you just go for whatever's there, and it's always bad..we laughed at it, alot..
afterwards we ended up by a field, with cows, little ones and biiig ones, and cute!!:.followed a path which led us to the beautiful sea, and the beach where I ofcourse started picking stones, as always..
on the way back we saw a slaughtered swan..well actually it was only the head and the neck, the body had been chopped off, and was lying a couple of meters away...hmm
now I just got back home, me & sanne went to eat some Indian, which is my favourite. they also had HUGE, cheap beers...I'm soooo full!! couldn't stay out much longer, i just had to go home and sleep...so that's basically what I'm gonna do now

fridya nights are lonely
for once i have a free evening AND I'm free tomorrow...but no one to drink beer with, so, candy, chocolate, ice-cream and movie with me , myself & Itomorrow, if it's nice & sunny, me & sanne are going to visit a small city by the sea, in the very south of sweden, Ystad...in the evening I will treat her for some Indian food at a restaurant. oh how I'm longing!

omg, whats WRONG with you men?!?!
as soon as we tell you we're not interested in the same way, but that we'd like to keep seeing you like friends, you run like the wind, and like all the compliments you've ever told us were lies..
now I told this way-too-old man that he's a REALLY nice guy but that we're better off as friend and that i hope we could keep contact anyway..
he sends me a short message telling me his working alot now, and don't feel like going to the bar where i work anymore (though last week he came every single evening), and then he finishes the message with "take care of yourself ---- ----" (his full name, first and last name, eh?!)
whatever, fine for me..

oxygene
wow, came back home at 6 , threw myself on the bed (couldn't even walk home from te bus properly, was soooo tired), and just woke up...2 hours later..
it's been really warm and sunny outside today, but very..hmm..what's that word in english..well, muggy, not so much oxygene..
i met up with nella and her friend in town, went around for a bit, then nella showed me the library which was huge & beautiful, and I'm looking forward to sit there and study :) so i got myself a library-card, and borrowed some traveling-magazines that i will read tonight, curled up in my bed with a cup of tea...
we also went throught Slottsparken, a nice park, where they had an even nicer garden-café, with loads of flowers...they had some really nice sandwiches, and cakes, and I had a baguette with grilled veg. and later on a blueberry pie, yummieeee!!

i'm soooooooo tired after this week, 6 days of work...i mean, i usually dont work AT ALL!
i'm gonna sleep for so long tomorrow (actually with my job being at night, i can sleep long every morning), then do my laundry, and watch a movie with a...friend..and THEN, i can sleep long AGAIN cause i'm free tuesday too!

brazilian week
ok, since my camera dosn't want to upload my photos (please somebody give me a new camera!)

so, i went to Båstad yesterday afternoon, I've never been there before, but wow! it's such a swedish little westcoast-summer-city, with a beautiful beach and harbour and red fihsing-cottages..
stupid as I am i didnt bring my bikini (well the bottom half i was wearing but not the top), as i thought it would be cold and i wouldnt swim..around 5pm when it should've too cold in the water) i went in, dipping my feet and legs, and oooh it was soo nice!!
layed on the beach, read a book, had some red wine, french fries and an ice-cream. watching some samba lessons and capoeira...
i wish i would've had someone t share it with, and danced with to the brazilian music in the evening, but hey, another time. in brazil next time!

i miss you
My stomach and heart is actually hurting & aching of longing.
I just got off the phone, talking with Rosa who's still in Taizé (the french community where I was a volunteer), and this is the 2nd summer since 2004 that I'm not there..and it feels so strange. Because I know exactly how it is, which people should be there now, eventhough there are thousands of visitors...and soon, the latinamerican volunteers will arrive, and I would've become best friends with them because they know my other bestfriends from thei countires and...wow
but at the same time, I know I can't go, I'm following my plans, somehow, trying to figure out wich road to take..
it's hard, when you're friends need you there, and you need to be with them..

oatmeal cookies

Just baked some cookies, improvised a recipe and they turned out pretty well..oatmeal-cinnamon-cookies..quite buttery, but butter is tasty so!! it's all good

well guess what! checked his tour-dates todya and the 6th of november he'll play in norwich , england, where I just happen to have a very good friend who I've been wanting to visit for some time..and we have 2 other friends in common who also wants to see yann! soooooo I'm really hoping we'll make something out of this! (and i'm hoping i wont have an exam in school that day, or that i'm on my way to latinamerica....well...that wouldnt be too bad maybe)...
AND, my friend, Maria from russia is coming to Malmö in just 2 weeks!!! :)

Little Joy & a bachelorettes life
wow, I'm living a bachelorette's life!!
going around in my underwear (it's just to hot to wear anything on top of that), mountains of dishes, and hanging around on the internet, finding inspirational music & people.
My first & biggest fabouriteband (except from spice girls & backstreet boys 15 years ago)was The Strokes....The Strokes has a very handsome drummer, Fab Moretti, who also has a sideproject, a band called Little Joy, together wth his girlfriend Binki Shapiro (love her name!) & Rodrigo Amarante (who plays guitar with my other biggest favourite Devendra Banhart)....are you with me still?

made sure i'm free on wednesday, cause I would like to go to Båstad for the brazilian week, and on friday evening I'm gonna be hanging out around Möllan, with Sanne hopefully, as there will be a festival there..sounds good to me!! just hope I'll finish off early enough to be able to catch the bus..I doubt it though..

My feet are a little bit tired today,
worked at the blues-pub until 1.20 lats night, came back home just before 2..
decided to take a taxi instead of the bus, wich was nice, but I guess I shouldnt do it do often.
It's just that this area has alot of fumours about it being a bad area, and sure, alot of things has happened here i*m sure, but I think this is not the only bad place..so I don't know. you never know who you meet on the street or bus on your way home, but you never know who's driving your taxi too..luckily, yesterday I had a really nice taxi-driver who even shut off the taxameter when it hit the price he promised me..
today we have a staff-meeting for putting up the working times for next week, so I guess I'll try to work quite alot, but I would like to be free maybe wednesday and friday ..don't think friday is possible, but whatever, we'll see..

first of all, I'm starting to be tooooo obsessed with true blood, people said it was good, but THIS GOOD?!
I thought edward cullen was the only one for me, but Bill Compton is working his way up the list too..
second of all,
i never knew Båstad was in Scania (the region of sweden where I live nowadays). well it IS very close to the border of Halland, but yeah!!! this means I can go there for free with my summercard!!
and guess what?! next week is brazilian-week in Båstad!

is there anybody from Malmö reading my blog, who would like to go with me? I'll be nice!!

Le Banquet
Wow, this song is just so beautiful. One day I'm gonna see Yann Tiersen play this live..
The whole movie is just beautiful, actually, it's the soundtrack to Amélie from Montmartre, one of my favourite movies (isnt it everybodies favourite movie?), and I haven't seen it in a really long time, good I took it with me when I moved..one of these nights...
cause I guess movies, true blood and books will be how I spend my coming nights..
Sanne is going to our hometown for the weekend, Nella is going to croatia..and now I'm all alone in this city...well, I guess I will be working, and I really don't want to..I don't know why I get this kind of panic whenever I think about working..

Okay I guess I have to give my mother credit for this one, she's the one who found the festival but, Dragonfly Festival seems great! it's a small festival I've never heard of, but it looks really nice, cosy and down to earth, with one of my favourite reggae-folk band, kultiration..
it's only 600 kr! (60 euros)..

studies vs. latinamerics
Lotten just left me, and the more I think about it, the more fucked upp I feel.
My brain is spinning around in 360 degrees, trying to figure out what to do the next coming year, and how to do it..
this time there arent 1000's of different ideas and plans, just 2 really strong wishes..
To start with ; I'm gonna miss Lotten so frickin' much!! to eat nice dinners, not alone..to make popcorn and put on a movie every night, and to sleep next to her..wow it sounds like we're a couple...maybe that's what I should get. a man..
well, i wish her all the best now she's going out in the world with her backpack, and only that. well a tent and a sleeping-bag too..in case she needs to borrow somebodys garden..just go wherever her feet takes her, and her heart tells her to..
Yesterday I worked at that blues-pub. It was better then I thought, eventhough most guests were 50 yearold men o seem to go there quite often, drinking about 15 beers, and letting us put it all on a bill for them, to pay later on.
The biggets problem for me right now is that it's impossible for me to get home, if I have to work later than 00.30, which is quite likely...I can't afford taking a taxi everytime
my other even more biggest problem is that I want to study so fucking much!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited, and i would love to start this autumn, as I got accepted and all. but as you all know, I really want to go to latinamerica, and I want to do it before I study..I want to stay for a couple of months starting fom december. I know latinamerica will always be where it is , but the reason I have to go now is:
1. because there is a taizé-meeting in chile which ALOT of my latin (and european) friends are going too, it would be a big opportunity for me to meet them all again..
2. I have many friends around latinamerica with whom I could stay with and who knows how the situation would be in 5 yeas after my studies...

so , what to do..start my studies, try to save money somehow, quit my studies after some months, and go travel? and try to keep on with the studies next year?
well, anyway, I had a kind-of-interview in a very modern & nice clothingshop yesterday, and I'm hoping I might get that!

My brain is spinning around in 360 degrees, trying to figure out what to do the next coming year, and how to do it..
this time there arent 1000's of different ideas and plans, just 2 really strong wishes..
To start with ; I'm gonna miss Lotten so frickin' much!! to eat nice dinners, not alone..to make popcorn and put on a movie every night, and to sleep next to her..wow it sounds like we're a couple...maybe that's what I should get. a man..
well, i wish her all the best now she's going out in the world with her backpack, and only that. well a tent and a sleeping-bag too..in case she needs to borrow somebodys garden..just go wherever her feet takes her, and her heart tells her to..
Yesterday I worked at that blues-pub. It was better then I thought, eventhough most guests were 50 yearold men o seem to go there quite often, drinking about 15 beers, and letting us put it all on a bill for them, to pay later on.
The biggets problem for me right now is that it's impossible for me to get home, if I have to work later than 00.30, which is quite likely...I can't afford taking a taxi everytime
my other even more biggest problem is that I want to study so fucking much!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited, and i would love to start this autumn, as I got accepted and all. but as you all know, I really want to go to latinamerica, and I want to do it before I study..I want to stay for a couple of months starting fom december. I know latinamerica will always be where it is , but the reason I have to go now is:
1. because there is a taizé-meeting in chile which ALOT of my latin (and european) friends are going too, it would be a big opportunity for me to meet them all again..
2. I have many friends around latinamerica with whom I could stay with and who knows how the situation would be in 5 yeas after my studies...

friends come & go
Lotten is leaving tomorrow,
this is gonna be so empty, I've spent every night except from the first one here with her..and every evening we've watched a movie, with some vanilla tea and popcorn..
The following evenings will be spent with movies and books
this weekend sanne is going back to our hometown, Nella is going to croatia for a week..
well good news are that 3 of my friends are moving to malmö this autumn! woah, this town is filled with people from my hometown...strange
today - hopefully seeing sanne a bit, tonight, birthday-dinner with lotten and some friends of hers..

Me and Lotten have been watching a movie every night since she came to visit me..I guess we've unconsiously had some kind of rob pattinson-theme, first movie ( eclipse ), second movie, the boat that rocked is with his best friend in the main-role, and this evening we watched Remember me, wich is so beautiful (but the script was better)

big day
what a day people!!
it's my 3rd day in Malmö and I just got home from an interview, or maybe more of a meeting. my mom's friend's friend's friend (complicated) owns a little bar where they have live-music and blues-bands in the evenings. and on saturday I will go there to test-work for one evening, hopefully I will do well and I will start working there..It's not the best payed, and a bit long from where I live now, but it's a good start!
Today I also found out that i got accepted to the progamme I want to study at the university!! I was so happy to see this!! and now I really have some big thinking ahead of me...listening to what my heart really sayd...At the moment, I want to follow the both roads equally much. But schools doesnt start until 1st of september, and until then I have alot of time to feel and think about this...
perhaps there is a possibility to begin my studies and have an extra-job on the side. and maybe I could travel next semester, and take a break from the programme (wich would make it certain that I could again keep on my studies from next year as I already started it...I think)..though then I would miss the meeting in Chile, and seeing alot of my latino-friends there....so I will have to think and feel more about this. oh my, last night was SO incredibly hot!!!
Lotten and I was watching the boat that rocked (so good!)
and trying to find a good sitting-position which would make us sweat less, but jeez, that was impossible
when we finally decided to sleep, the only right thing to do was to sleep on the balcony! haha
so we put a blanket on the floor, and our pillows. and a blanket on top of us was so not necessary...
we moved in, early this morning, wich was quite good as it started raining this morning, and now the heat is at least bearable..
meanwhile, in Bagdad, they have 50 degrees (celsius) in the shadow right now...wow
I'mm off for a wor I might get, veyr nice of my mothers friend to help me out with that..
I'm a bit scared though,
I might have to work in the kitchen, wich will be a disaster because, eventhough I'm wuite OK at cooking, i don't cook meat!! I haven't done that for 8 years, and i don't wanna start now..we'll see how it goes

sticky weather
I guess the coming days will be quite bad update, cause I'm spending alot of time with Lotten here.

yesterday we cooke da nice dinner and then we watched eclipse!!
we had a good night sleep, eventhough we got some touch news last night..
now we're gettkng ready to hit the town! I'm gonna hand in some CV's I guess...

malmö I'm here
wow! what a day
.....I'm here, in my new hometown, Malmö..
It feels strange but nice and exciting!!
I don't want to think about how urgently i need to get a job,
if anybody knew how much (little!) money i have on my account, they would think im stupid to move somewhere, but i have hope! and that usually is everything you need :)
I'm in "my" new appartment (borrowing a friends app.)...she has all my favourite-books and the books i always wanted to read, a nice view (7th floor) and a big balcony with sun aaall day (its sooo hot in here!!)
first thing tomorrow - goingfoodshopping at city gross,
then!!! call Lotten who I will finally see by tomorrow evening!!
that's all for now I guess

malmö here I come
from tomorrow on, this will be my hometown. Malmö!
really looking forward to it!
I really hope i will find some job soon, a good , nice, fun and most of all well-paid job!! that will take me to southamerica next winter!!
today I've been packing the last things (man, are those bags heavy, and completely full!), cleaning out my room a bit...kind of...I'm not so good at cleaning actually..
then me and mom went to visit grandma and grandad at the cemetary, and now we're having a last family-meal (probably the first one since i came back 2 months ago?), with tacos and strawberry cake for dessert! yum!
really looking forward to it!

had some bbq in the garden before, some friends, their boyfiends and boyfriends friends...it was really nice, just hanging out, eating together...
and then when drinks are all out, and everybody is really full and sleepy...you dont really know what to do..
and you're kind of half-tipsy so you still feel like going out, but you're a bit tired too
that's the state I'm in at the moment..
but it was a great evening

dreams
so, 3 days, and then I'm no longer living in Linköping.
Malmö will be my new hometown..
If I had some extra money, I'd love to take some eveningclasses, just for fun!
When I was younger, my mom let me do any class I want, and I changed almost every semester, Ive done at least 5 different styles of dancing, horse-backriding, artclasses, guitar & pianoclasses, ceramics..the list goes on..
I just wish now, that I'd stayed a bit longer, not changing so often. I'd love to be good at all those things!
So, If I had some extra money, here's some classes I'd love to do this autumn:
Spanish level B1-2 - because I decided to develop my spanish, and become a fluent speaker
Ballet - because I always loved it, but my feet aren't as flexible as they should be
Modern dance/ afro dance - because I love feeling the freedom!
ceramics/pottery - because I love being creative, and me & Lotten will make ceramics in our future community
travel-writingcourse - because I'd love to work as a freelance travel-journalist in the future
Theatre/Drama - because of my hidden dreams of becoming an actress

today I've been hanging down in the shop (after sorting out ALL of my jewlery this morning...everything I had since I was about 13 years old!!)..
I've made a couple of headbands/hairbands, with details like crochet-flowers and pearls..think I'm gonna sell them on etsy...later on..
now - homemade cookies, vanilla-tea and a movie..

Devendra Banhart
let me introduce you to devendra banhart.
He has been one of my nr 1 favourites, since I accidentally downloaded one of his songs when I was 14..later on that year I saw one of his musicvideos on TV, and recognized the sound...and I fell in love..
since then, I've atcually met him once, gave him a gift (by which he several times said "I love it! I love it! I love it!" ), exchanged a hug and a kiss on the cheek, and a quick chat.
he is wonderful in all shapes and forms..his music has changed alot since the beginning, but it's still really good.
I'd love to have a party in his house (Jim morrisons old house)...his hippie-friends, and his acoustic music...and some beer
