mother's day

I just woke up at 15.30
Ok I was up a little bit earlier aswell, but the headache made me go back to bed.
yesterday was nice though, sangria, meeting new and old friends, and probably I have a flatmate for Malmö!!! we're gonna have the best appartment ever, sewing, making sushi and other nice food, drinking beer, watching movies. yeahhhh!!!

now shower, laundry and maybe bake osmething for mum..it's mothers day in sweden..apparantly

Damn it, I REALLY feel like going to Italy right now.
I watched some photos, and just remembered the nice times I've had in Italy..and the times I've been there, I was too young to go out and get drunk, so imagine just how fun I could have there now!!!

This day started with a big portion of no-inspiration-whatsoever but a will to sew anyway!
and so I did!
I found an old shirt in the back of the shop, which I transformed into a skirt and a dress! both for sale now!
I'm pretty happy with the results!

well,
I knew Lotten was gonna stay in Taize for a long time, and might go to Rotterdam to prepare the european meeting from september to January..
I'm starting to realize that probably it's the same thing with Javier, and I won't see him for another year either..
and now I think I have to realize that I won't see Rosa as soon as I thought either..
Suddenly, I don't like what Taizé is doing to me..

This morning I watched an old episode of Beverly Hills on TV.
I had forgotten how hot Dylan was!!! And he totally looks like Edward Cullen
(well probably the other way around),
I guess that's where they got the inspiration for Ed's hair in the twilight movies..who else had such a bangs..

the road

soooo, finally an update!!..
I spent the last two days doing nice things, for me..
yesterday evening I baked a chocolate-cake but as the cocoa powder was almost finished I put some Bailey's and after eight inside, and it was really good!!!
Then I watched "the road", a movie based on the book with the same name. It's a post-apocalyptic movie with Viggo mortensen as a father and his sun (about 12 years old?) trying to get to the southern parts of America, in hope of..something..they walk through a dead landscape covered in ashes..hiding from other human beings who might've survived, as many of them became canibals...it's a good movie..sad, but beautiful..

Today it's been raining all day, so I spent a couple of hours in the library, reading home-decoration & gardening-magazines! haha..sitting by the big glass-walls, in a big, comfy chair..then I borrowed some books to practise my german & portuguese...yes, just for fun..
I don't know, maybe I'll watch a movie tonight too..I haven't got many movies left on the computer, that I haven't seen, I need to get some new ones, do you have any advice on what to get?

abuse

my mom showed me these videos this morning, i've never felt so sick and nascious after having seen a movie like this..there are sick people in this world, these stories are unfortunately true, but it's important to be aware of that these things are happening..

first clip is about baby brianna, who's parents abused her, raped her and threw her up in the roof only to let her slam back down on the floor several times

the seocnd movie is about baby pete who's stepfather pulled his nails out with a plyer, cut his fingers off, and threw him on the floor like a rag-doll..
both babies died,
if you ever except anyone in your surrounding being abused, don't hesitate to call the police

here's a dress I re-made a bit. It was a broken skirt I found at my old job in London ( a vintage-shop), it was in the £1-basket!!!
So it's been waiting for me to get back to Sweden and use the sewing-machine. I put a zip in it, and it's usable like a dress! I would wear it to the wedding, if it wasnt a bit too small to look good on me:

I'll begin with these necklaces and earrings, which are part of my "Barcelona stone"-collection. They are made out of stones and pieces of glass, polished by the sea..I picked them when I was in Barcelona in April..

good morning!!
it's a beautiful day, I slept way too long as usual (don't know why I always put my alarm on 9.30, when I keep on sleeping until 12'o clock..at leats nowadays I feel a bit sad about it unlike before)..
I'm gonna read my letter-book (more about that later) from Lotten wich arrived in the post today, FINALLY! eat some breakfast (I would like to sit on the balcony but the neighbours are outside, and I'm not so beautiful right now)..
Then wash my hair - it will go afro, and I don't have time to straighten it before I'm heading down town, to look for that beautiful h&m dress from fashion against aids..

Lisboa

sometimes, yes, most of the times, I just feel like getting serious. either start my studies this autumn, or, find a great job and save money so that i f-i-n-a-l-l-y could go to latinamerica, wich has been my dream the last 2 years..
But, then, the other times I just feel like going on the way I've been doing since I finished highschool 2 years ago, travelling, working .. where I want to go the most right now (and since quite a time) is Lisbon, or Portugal in general, but Lisbon seems like a wonderful, warm city. I lov eportuguese people and the language!!
The company I worked with in Barcelona (telemarketing, euh!) just opened an office in Lisbon, I'm pretty sure I could get work there i I applied...and there are quite many cool hostels where I could apply for work, and maybe even stay at for free, I know alot of hostels do that.
But then, I would probably have to give up the dream about latinamerica (I mean I could probably go later on in life, but I want to do it this winte because of different reasons)
I don't think I would be able to save so much money in Lisbon...

what is it with older people, that make them wanna complaine ALL the fucking time!
Right now I'm listening to my mom and her friend in the kitchen..it sounds like they are competing about having the worst life!!
"my dad died when he was 60" - "yeah..min was 58.."
"my back hurts so much!" - "yeah my back hurts like hell too, I'm working too much"

well, we had some BBQ at Gabriel's place today, and who's there if not Daniele! an italian guy who was here for a year when we went to high-school..he did and exchangeprogramme here, and he really likes sweden so now he's here again studying at university

well well, swedish summer is nice. I might have some bbq in our backyard sometime soon. you're invited!!

mom's auntie's 75th birthday-party & I got a present! she had been knitting on a dress that I even forgot that I wished for when I was about 15 years old. I asked my grandmother to knit it for me, but as she was sick back then she had given it to my mothers auntie to finish it, and well...now it's finished! I haven't tried it yet though..

sunny days

so , today I went to a park nearby, it's the biggets park in my city & whenever the sun comes out, everybody goes there to lay in the sun, have picnic or do some kind of sport.
I met up with Gabriel, a portuguese guy doing a voluntary-year in our culture--house, we ate some pineapple, talked about taize (as he also goes there regularly) and then we went to see some movies made my documentary-film-students, who spent 5-6 months in brasil and uruguay..very interesting!!

Oh I just stumbled across some old pictures from when me & some friends visited our french friends in Antibes, in the south of France.We also visited Marseille for a couple of days. It was in the middle of December, and it was beautiful!

hola!

I'm hungover, real bad.
The fashionshow yesterday was alright, there were mostly economy-students there, and most of them were bunch of brats!
So I met up with my second best male-friend Emil, for a couple of beers (apparantly a few too many)..we had some nice discussion about travelling, as usual..he also wants to go to latinamerica...i hope he waits a bit, would be nice to go with him or meet up with him over there!

Today has been the hottest day since I came back, beautiful! Unfortunately I spent it in my bed all day, and couldn't work ni the shop or meet up with Gabriel (a portuguese guy doing voluntary work in my city for a year)..but we will meet tomorrow, so I'm hoping for some nice weather again..

right now I'm sitting on our balcony,
the place where I live is beautiful. It's in the city centre, but in a back-yard wich makes you feel like you're not in the middle of everything. We have a beautiful tree right outside our balcony, and right now I'm drinking a cup of Green Tea Mango, reading H&M magazine (they have a guide to Buenos Aires! I'm happy!!!)

apparantly I'm not working tonight (was gonna do some waitressing at a students-dinner but they found somebody else), so I'm off to a fashion-show called " fashion for Kenya".
Some students are organizing a party with clothes from different stores around our city (some clothes from my mom's vintage-shop), and some bands are gonna play aswell. We're on the guestlist so I'm going with a friend and hoping for some nice cocktails!
